Distributed Control Concept for a 6-DOF Reconfigurable Robot Arm

چکیده
Current trends such as shorter product lifecycles, reduced time-to-market and mass-customization require new paradigms and approaches for production lines and machines. In the long term, production and manufacturing companies will only be able to survive in the face of increasing globalisation if they can react flexibly and quickly to changing customer and market demands. New paradigms and approaches are waiting to fulfil these requirements, but their implementation requires completely new technologies. Reconfiguration, both at machine (physical) and control technology (logical) level is a promising candidate to achieve the flexibility required by these paradigms by technical means. This makes a shift from centrally controlled, highly interlinked, and often tightly interlocked production systems to distributed, modular, collaborative components essential. This paper describes the distributed control concept for a 6-DOF reconfigurable robot arm as a demonstration platform for reconfigurable approaches at PROFACTOR.

An Adaptive-Robust Control Approach for Trajectory Tracking of two 5 DOF Cooperating Robot Manipulators Moving a Rigid Payload
In this paper, a dual system consisting of two 5 DOF (RRRRR) robot manipulators is considered as a cooperative robotic system used to manipulate a rigid payload on a desired trajectory between two desired initial and end positions/orientations. The forward and inverse kinematic problems are first solved for the dual arm system. Then, dynamics of the system and the relations between forces/momen...
متن کاملOptimization of PID Controller with Supervisory Fuzzy Control for Industrial Robots
It is difficult to control the movement of the robot arm due to its nonlinear structure. PID controller is still in the world because of its simplicity in designing this controller as the main controller. The nonlinear control technique is very complicated, and this is not very interesting in the controller. While fuzzy control has a better performance, it incorporates a fuzzy control with ...
متن کاملDesign and Walking Control of the Humanoid Robot, KHR-2(KAIST Humanoid Robot - 2)
This paper describes platform overview, system integration and dynamic walking control of the humanoid robot, KHR-2 (KAIST Humanoid Robot – 2). We have developed KHR-2 since 2003. KHR-2 has totally 41 DOF (Degree Of Freedom). Each arm including a hand has 11 DOF and each leg has 6 DOF. Head and trunk also has 6 DOF and 1 DOF respectively. In head, two CCD cameras are used for eye. In order to c...
متن کاملRobot Arm Performing Writing through Speech Recognition Using Dynamic Time Warping Algorithm
This paper aims to develop a writing robot by recognizing the speech signal from the user. The robot arm constructed mainly for the disabled people who can’t perform writing on their own. Here, dynamic time warping (DTW) algorithm is used to recognize the speech signal from the user. The action performed by the robot arm in the environment is done by reducing the redundancy which frequently fac...
متن کاملANFIS+PID Hybrid Controller Design for Controlling of a 6-DOF Robot Manipulator and its Error Convergence Analysis
In this paper, an ANFIS+PID hybrid control policy has been addressed to control a 6-degree-of freedom (6-DOF) robotic manipulator. Then its error convergence has been also evaluated. The ability to formulate and estimate the system uncertainties and disturbances along with system dynamics and rejecting the disturbances effect are some advantages of the proposed method in comparing with the co...
